I just wanted you to know that I’m only able to become a subscriber because Bernie Sanders fought for the CARES Act so my family could get a decent unemployment benefit; I just recently received the payment after a long delay; I decided I want to give back by supporting Progressive voices like yours. Keep up the good work!
This is great work, David. The biggest lesson I’ve learned as a Bernie delegate is that we can’t have a political revolution without transforming the media landscape and uplifting independent journalism. It’s the same lesson I learned in 2016. We are watching the “electability” narrative used during the primaries unravel before our eyes in swing states as Biden continues to appeal to donors over working people. Bernie’s policies won overwhelming support in the primaries, but the toxicity of the media narrative had already set its course. All that being said, I subscribed today to support your effort in bringing integrity back to journalism.
